questions.
01is speakshot live?+
web teleprompter is live now. iOS + Android apps land summer 2026. sign up to get notified.
02how does voice-tracking actually work?+
whisper runs on-device. we feed it the upcoming 50 words of your script as a language-model prompt — that biases the recognizer toward what you are about to say. cuts errors dramatically vs stock APIs. mic audio never leaves your phone.
03why does prompt-smart suck and you do not?+
they use stock OS speech recognition with no script context. we feed your script forward as a prompt — same model gets 5x better accuracy on uncommon words.
04do you handle accents?+
tested 5 accents (US M/F, UK M, AU F, IE F) at 98.5%+ session completion. real-world accents tested during closed beta.
05what about the 3-minute capcut export limit?+
speakshot has no length cap. record as long as your storage. clip + export at any length.
06do you have manual ISO / shutter / focus peaking?+
yes. ISO range, shutter angle in cinema-degree units, manual focus with peaking, false color, zebras 75-100%, RGB histogram, log profiles (Apple Log on iPhone 15 Pro+, Samsung Log on supported Galaxies).
07can i use a physical teleprompter rig with the beam-splitter glass?+
yes. press M in the teleprompter to mirror horizontally. text reads correct-side to your eye while invisible to the audience through the glass.
08do you support gestures?+
six-gesture vocab on mobile: open palm pause, fist play, thumbs up next paragraph, thumbs down previous, point up scroll up, point down scroll down. trigger zone configurable to avoid false fires during natural presentation.
09do you have a free tier?+
7-day trial covers everything. no credit card to start. drop one in if you want to keep going.
10can i export raw / log video?+
yes — iOS gets ProRes 422 + Apple Log, Android gets Samsung Log + APV codec on supported devices.
11do i need an account to use the web teleprompter?+
yes — scripts need to live somewhere we can sync them to your phone. signup is one click + an email link.
